Clinic Hours, Monday Evening

Late Monday afternoon found James Wilson back in the clinic. Yes, he really was this much of a workaholic as it beat sitting around thinking about things he wasn't entirely certain he was ready to be thinking about.

Swiping a red lollipop from House's private stash, the oncologist dug through a few old medical journals until he found one he hadn't had time to read up on yet and then strolled into the clinic. Tugging a plastic chair away from the wall, he pulled it up next to one of the beds and flopped into it, long legs immediately sprawling up against the bedframe, as it was impossible for Wilson to sit properly in a chair.

He didn't know if he should expect any visitors on a Monday and what sounded like a busy Monday for the school but he'd settle in for a few hours and at least pretend to read the journal in his lap, just in case anyone happened to need him.

(ooc- I should be around until 11ish EST)

After Art Class Jake decided to attempt to get his blood back once more. So he walked over to the clinic, paused, and said, loudly, "Anybody here to give me my blood back? It misses me, and you've been mean to it."

"Depends. Do you work here?" Jake asked, eyeing the man in the doorway. "And, yes, it does. I let Doctor-with-game have some to see if it could tell him why I turned into a girl. Since I'm back now, and he so couldn't help me, I would like it back."

"Jake Gavin." Jake tilted his head to listen to the signals he was getting from his blood. "It's still alive, if barely."

Jake looked blank. "I.. have no idea. I thought he'd be doing doctor-ly things with it." As he was usually never sick, Jake had no idea what doctors usually did, but doctor-with-game had been very persistant and convincing, so presumably he knew.

"Hey, thanks!" Jake grabbed the vial happily, communing with his blood for a moment. He stood there staring intently at the vial, deep frown as he tried to figure out what had been done with it, and whether or not he could change it into something usable.

The blood barely responded.

Jake sighed. He'd been hoping he'd get a better signal once he was near it, but apparently not. With a thought the blood instantly died. Jake held the vial towards possible-Doctor person again. "Dr. House did something weird with it." Jake paused, then rolled his eyes. "Like actually doing tests, duh. Sometimes I'm stupid. Um. I killed it, wil that help do you think? I didn't think about doing it before."

"Probably. I think I gave him my biography, my dad's, aunt's and random distant relatives as well. Dr. House is very curious, isn't he?"

Jake has no idea that this is a baffling conversation to be having, by the way. *grins*

"Don't think he's met a mutant like me before." Jake squinted. "Or, he's from an all-human place, right?"

*g!*

"What I thought," Jake nodded, wearing his 'your world is freaky' face, mainly to hide the fact that worlds that by all accounts seemed much like his own, but lacking in mutants made him uncomfortable. "Anyway, so, no one like me." He paused and frowned. "Actually, I've never met anyone like me either. Interesting."

Jake gave him a look. "No, of course I've met other mutants. I meant, I haven't met anybody else who talk to their cells the way I do. I've met shapeshifters and healers, but, you know. Not like me." He snorted, recalling his conversation with Chihaya. "I'm a unique snowflake, me."

"Even now I've been fixed?" Jake asked, surprised.

Lily finds Wilson.

"Excuse me, Dr. Wilson? I'm sorry to interrupt, but I could use your help with a patient (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandom_clinic/23784.html?thread=783848#t783848)."

"Exam Room 4 (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandom_clinic/23784.html?thread=783848#t783848). Parker is in there, complaining of acute stomache pains, no unusual foods consumed today, and there is a possibility of pregnancy. I'm not sure where to go from there, though."
