Clinic Hours, Monday Evening
Late Monday afternoon found James Wilson back in the clinic. Yes, he really was this much of a workaholic as it beat sitting around thinking about things he wasn't entirely certain he was ready to be thinking about.
Swiping a red lollipop from House's private stash, the oncologist dug through a few old medical journals until he found one he hadn't had time to read up on yet and then strolled into the clinic. Tugging a plastic chair away from the wall, he pulled it up next to one of the beds and flopped into it, long legs immediately sprawling up against the bedframe, as it was impossible for Wilson to sit properly in a chair.
He didn't know if he should expect any visitors on a Monday and what sounded like a busy Monday for the school but he'd settle in for a few hours and at least pretend to read the journal in his lap, just in case anyone happened to need him.
(ooc- I should be around until 11ish EST)

"Would I could as 'anybody' and I'm sorry, your blood misses you?"
That was not a statement he was used to hearing, though something told him he'd better ramp up on it really quickly.

And the whole...turned into a girl??
Giving his head a slight shake Wilson moving on through the doorway.
"Well...yes, sorta of. Let me check a few of the refridgerators to see if I can find it. What name would it be labled under?"

"Was House working on this for you?"

Well, won't be the first time House yelled at me.
"Okay." Burrowing about, he found the vial he was looking for tucked safely aside in a styrofoam base. Tugging it loose, he checked to see if there were any other vials for Gavin laying about and if there were, picked them up. If not, it was just the one.
"Here you go...though you might want to come back when Dr. House is on duty to talk with him, see if he made any progress?"

The blood barely responded.
Jake sighed. He'd been hoping he'd get a better signal once he was near it, but apparently not. With a thought the blood instantly died. Jake held the vial towards possible-Doctor person again. "Dr. House did something weird with it." Jake paused, then rolled his eyes. "Like actually doing tests, duh. Sometimes I'm stupid. Um. I killed it, wil that help do you think? I didn't think about doing it before."

"Uh, well to be honest I don't know." Might as well be up front about this. "I can tell him, what you just told me and does he know how to contact you if he has any questions?"

Jake has no idea that this is a baffling conversation to be having, by the way. *grins*no subject
Giving his head a shake, the oncologist looked at the vial in his hand.
"I...I have to imagine he is, about something at least."
I don't know what he's more stunned by, the living blood or House taking a patient's history!no subject

"He and I come from the same...place and ah yes as far as I can tell...it's all..." Wilson considered the word he wanted to use here and went with, "homosapien."

"You mean, you haven't met other mutants?"

Yeah...looking at it that way, unique had to also be pretty damn lonesome.
"Well, Dr. House is a fairly stubborn individual." Understatement! "And if he's taken an interest in working with you about this, I don't imagine he's going to give up easily until everybody has a better understanding of what's going on."

"Do you know how you got fixed? Do you know why it happened in the first place? Do you know what might have triggered it? Do you know where it could affect you again? Do you know who else might be able to help you?"
Years of association with the stubborn Diagnostician had the oncologist smiling wryly.
"If those questions aren't answered? I'm fairly certain he's going to continue to investigate the situation. He's...deliberate that way."
no subject
"Excuse me, Dr. Wilson? I'm sorry to interrupt, but I could use your help with a patient (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandom_clinic/23784.html?thread=783848#t783848)."

"Of course, Lily." Holding his hand out for the chart he moved towards her. "Where are we going?"
