Alanna sat in the clinic, reading one of the many books she had managed to get her hands on and absent mindedly playing with the cord around her neck.

Outside, she had hung up a note:

Any one running for student office with Miss Parker's help, please stop by.

"I know Rory," he says, with a bit of a smile. "Lisa works in the clinic, doesn't she? I think we met.

"Look, you guys have a good ticket so far, but you've got a few gaps to fill. Are you expecting any of the other candidates soon? I've got some suggestions and I don't feel like repeating myself."

"As I understand it, you're still lacking candidates for Academic Affairs Officer, Treasurer, and Special Events Coordinator, right? Bring in one of the flyboys, if they're willing, maybe Crichton or Adama? You'll give that crowd a voice and add a male to your ticket - I think inclusivity is important in these times of trouble.

Have you thought about the platform yet? The weapons ban is going to be an issue - what is our team willing to do for those who feel defenseless? Oh - might be a good idea to have one of the supers on the ticket, too - maybe that Jedi kid? Are you getting all this?" He peers down at her notebook.
