Note for Dr. House
Grissom stands in front of the clinic door, scribbling away on a piece of paper.
Dr. House,
I was referred to you by one of your employees. I am currently looking for a supply of blood. Outdated or rancid samples would be perfectly fine for my purposes. I haven't seen any biohazard teams make a pick-up at the dorms yet, so I thought that maybe you have a stash somewhere. I'd love to take it off your hands if I may.
Perhaps we could work out a more long-term arrangement as well, and save the clinic some funds.
Sincerely,
Gil Grissom
He turns to tack the note on the door, but makes one adjustment.
P.S. The blood must not contain artificial anticoagulants, although specimens from non-human speciescould be fun would be acceptable. Thank you.

He's pretty sure he's going to regret initiating conversation, but what the hell.
"Can I...help you?" The last two words are highly exaggerated.

Are you Dr. House? Gil Grissom, I run the Sociology department here. I actually came by the clinic to ask you a favor. Do you have a minute?
no subject
"Do we need to go in my office?"

"For what purpose?" A question of curiosity as well as formality.

Grissom stares off wistfully.
Oh, and as a secondary food source for a few particular species of insects. I'll save some in my personal refrigerator, for any cases that may come up involving insects that feast on human flesh - if DNA can't be extracted from them I can still use them for timeline purposes.

House studies the man because that is what Hosue does best.

Grissom gives House the "this is between men, right?" look.

He smiles.
"I do believe you've found a supplier of blood, my good man. I had a werewolf in here the other night. You be interested in that sample?"
no subject
I'll take everything you've got, if that isn't a problem. I tend to run through the stuff rather quickly, and I fear I may run into a problem obtaining fresh samples from the students. Plus, I should really begin a database for non-human species with this crowd, although to be honest I probably should have done it back in Vegas.
I thank you for your help. If you ever wanted to participate in a live test, please feel free.

"I told you I like to keep my blood. I don't mind supplying you with he samples we don't need in the clinic, though."

"The wolf blood is in a seperate bag in the big bag. The other samples are good old fashioned human."
no subject
Grissom takes the bag and gives House a tight-lipped, but appreciative smile.
Pleasure doing business with you.
no subject
Hose offers an equally appreciative smile.
"Just remember you owe me."
no subject
Grissom nods, and turns to leave.
