Fandom Clinic; Thursday [01/05].
With a little bit of a later start to her day this semester than usual (although the nature of her class on Thursdays would hopefully mean bringing in some various baked goods for the nurses, depending on whatever they ended up making!), Libby was ready to get back into her routine at the clinic, and definitely eager to get back into her studies. A much lighter regular class load this semester meant she could really spend some time picking up some extra online courses specifically tailored to her interest in nursing, even if that was going to mean a lot more time on the computer and with her nose in a few more books.
Not that the second one would ever be an issue, even if those books were far less the fantasy adventure tales she liked to read about and more medical documents and textbooks.
Still, she wasn't the only one with lots of studying to do, either. Apparently, Stabby was taking some sort of crab correspondence math course, and Libby, foolishly, thought that she'd always been pretty decent at math, maybe she could help him if he started to struggle.
Which worked for the first few pages, but, eventually, it went a little beyond her humble homeschool algebra and accounting, and she was going to try to not be too distracted from her own work to want to go figure out crab-math on top of medical math.
The Clinic is open!

Re: The Front Desk - 01/05.
"Happy New Year, Libby!" he said with a grin. "How's the first day back going so far?"
Re: The Front Desk - 01/05.
With that, she was rolling her chair back already to get the other chair to pull it up to the desk for Kurt.
"And how's your day been, Kurt?"

Re: The Front Desk - 01/05.
If her tone was a little bit wry about having to give those things up for something more practically, well....good, that was exactly what she was going for. But she smiled at Kurt. "I'm glad you've gotten yourself a well-earned break, though. What are you taking this semester, anyway?"
Re: The Front Desk - 01/05.
He gave Libby a smile. "I'm glad it worked out where I have Thursdays off as far as classes go, so we can still have lunch together! But if we need to shift things at all for your nursing classes and work let me know."

He gave Libby a playful wink as he opened up the bag and set out the food.
"Since it's still chilly, I went with some sausage and wild rice soup. Got lots of veggies in there too. Hope you like it," he said as he dished out a big bowl for each of them.
Re: The Front Desk - 01/05.
There was a slight hesitation before she added, "Gives me even more to look forward to."
Re: The Front Desk - 01/05.
Double the surprise, double the food, and double the time with Libby.... sounded like an all-around win to Kurt.
"But I am sure we can figure something out. And in the meantime, I hope you like the soup. It's a new recipe I learned over the holiday while visiting the folks (no matter if the recipe say Italian OMG). "

"I like being able to learn new recipes and share them with you, Libby," he said, finally lifting his gaze for a moment and smiling softly. Then he put his attention back on the bowl and began to eat.
