FTEC, Friday (4/8)
One of the nurses had a cough. Not a worrying cough, not a 'this will go on forever and be the start of something more serious' cough. Just a cough.
A very, very annoying cough.
"Oh, for the love of God," John cried, "Take some bloody mints! Please!"
He was a bit on edge today. But, in his defense: it really was an incredibly irritating cough.

In the Clinic
The Sidewalk Out Front
Anyone who investigated would find a rather excitable lizard-dragon-thing running back and forth down the sidewalk. It didn't look especially hostile, and it was wearing a saddle...
Re: The Sidewalk Out Front
Instead he had...
"...Oh, of course."
Re: The Sidewalk Out Front
But friendly! In a drippy, slurpy way.

Instead, he just stuck out his tongue far enough to use it in place of the useless little arms at his side, and point back at himself. Clearly he was a dinosaur. Lizard. Dog. Thing. Duh.

Yoshi gave a little bounce like an enthusiastic reptilian puppy, and ziiiiipped off down the pavement to stomp on a passing turtle. Then that tongue schlurped the shell into his mouth before it could slide away, and he bounced back up to John like he was expecting a pat on the head for being such a good retriever.
Re: The Sidewalk Out Front
"...Good boy," John said, more than a little incredulously. "Very good boy. ...Sit?"
Re: The Sidewalk Out Front
He could still make this face
In lieu of pointing out that he also didn't have knees, so sitting was not an option.
Rapidly spitting out the Koopa shell past John and right at the winged Goomba bouncing up the pavement towards him, though? That was an option.
Direct hit!
