FTEC, Sunday [03/28]

Martha almost - almost - wished she was outside fighting, but she knew that her skills were just as needed in the clinic. No one who was injured should have been left alone with the nurses, after all.

So as it turned out, getting hit in the head (and then again, and then hitting a tree, and then getting a headwound - Arthur was dedicated where it came down to the canonical necessity for him to get his ass kicked every episode) meant it was a little hard to get up in the morning.

Coma boy, not so much, but he wouldn't be able to entertain thoughts about as much as sitting up until the ceiling stopped doing a merry dance in front of him.

Ben missed bacta. A lot. At home, he would've been out and running around already (well, perhaps not. He'd lost a lot of blood thanks to the lizard...thing's claws across his chest), instead of laying in bed, staring at the ceiling and getting bored.

And healing trances were just not his level of expertise.

At least Tahiri brought him a datapad when she showed up, if not ice cream?

"Isn't this supposed to go the other way around, usually?" she teased. "Or is the blood loss another Skywalker thing? Because if it is, we're really going to need to have a talk about this."

Tahiri kept a straight face for as long as she could before a smile cracked the expression. "Aren't you lucky I had no intention of teasing you about it, ever?"

Tahiri's smile turned very slightly odd for just a fraction of a second. "Well, it is easier to replace, but did you have to lose so much of it? It doesn't always pay to be an overachiever, Ben."

One of which had left a nice gash on the side of her head, but shh.

"What did it do to you to get you to spill so much blood?"
