Sometime mid-morning, Johnny brought in a weary looking Savannah, holding her against his side. It never failed to startle him when he saw Dr. Troy, which is to say he didn't see the man often enough to get over the first initial reaction.

"Dr. Troy, I need your help, please."

"What's the problem?" Christian asked.

"Headache," Savannah murmured. "Not exactly sleeping well, either."

"She was tossed around and thrown into rocks," Johnny said bluntly.

"Wyatt healed me," she reminded him.

"Head trauma?" Christian said, looking Savannah over. "Come with me to the exam room (http://community.livejournal.com/fandom_clinic/469689.html?thread=10017977#t10017977) and we'll check you out."

"Wyatt healed the wounds," she said quietly. "But he can't replace all of the energy I expended or fix the fact that I can't sleep." She looked at Dr. Troy. "Yes, I hit my head on some rocks and on the beach."

"And the curly haired kid did his thing?" Christian waggled his fingers. "Hop up on the table."

Savannah had to smile at that. "Yes, he did his thing."

She didn't hop up on the table because that would jar her head. Shae carefully got up on the table. She only had a second of dizziness.

Christian got out a pen light and peered into Savannah's eyes. "Follow my finger," he said, holding up one finger and moving it from side to side.

Savannah followed his finger for a moment before gripping the edges of the table. Drained power headaches made her dizzy.

Though, Savannah knew that one of the reasons she was here was because Johnny didn't trust Wyatt right now and no matter how much she told him he had healed her, Johnny wouldn't take that as a sure thing right now.

The phone calls. Stan had handwavily been receiving more phone calls from off-island as of late, and was pondering the choice.

Christian did a check of Savannah's vitals. "Physically, you seem fine," he said. "No evidence of a concussion or other serious injury."

"See, I'm fine," she said to Johnny. Of course, then she swayed sideways a little bit and let out a creative curse in Latin.

Johnny had been standing back, quietly, trying to stay out of the way.

"See? She's not fine," he said, moving forward to be near her.

"Johnny... it's just exhaustion and being worn down," she said, trying to sound believable.

"You push yourself. Class... last night," he cut his eyes at Dr. Troy. "She needs to sleep for a good solid two days. At least."

"If this is some sort of magically induced exhaustion, I'm afraid I don't have much experience in that area," Christian said. "But it does sound like you need to take it easy for a few days. Lots of rest, no strenuous activity. I can give you some painkillers for the headache and something to help you sleep as well."

Savannah was going to say no, but when she saw that look and Johnny's face and remembered how worried he was about her, she nodded. "All right, Doctor."

He was satisfied with her answer and encouraged her by saying, "It will help, Savannah. No cheerleading today."

He raised his brows, giving her a look.

Savannah sighed and her shoulders drooped a little. "Okay. No cheerleading today."

"No cheerleading for at least three days," Christian said. "I'd say rest until next Monday to be sure you won't relapse."

Savannah took a breath. "I'll need a note for my classes... Especially for Mr. Skywalker."

Christian picked up a pad and scribbled an excuse, though as a doctor, his handwriting sucked. He gave Savannah the note as well as sample packs of a strong pain reliever and Ambien. "If she faints," he said, looking over at Johnny, "bring her back in here."

Savannah didn't bat an eye. "Well damn. Then I guess we have to take down the swing for the week."

As if these kids knew what you could do with a good swing.
