FTEC, Sunday Morning, October 29

Even the extra hour of sleep he'd gotten wasn't helping Trevor stay totally conscious this morning, and he made sure to make some strong coffee before settling behind the front desk.

Pippi stopped by with a basket of breakfast and poked her head in the room.

But it looked like everybody was sleeping.

Nadia lifted her head slightly from where it had been resting on Walter's shoulder while she dozed and smiled at Pippi.

"He woke up!" she whispered

There was absolutely no way Nadia was going to point out that he hadn't. He was smart enough to figure that out for himself, if nothing else. "Thanks again, Pippi."

Pippi also didn't comment on if and how he'd been eating for the past few days or how he looked.

"Well, We can fix that." she said unwrapping some at randome and handing them to him and Nadia. "Sure."

"Hmm... Music class did a recital." Pippi mused. "Other then that, no, you didn't miss any invasions."

Walter had his mouth full and had to wait to swallow before saying, "Do you see the lengths I will go to in order to keep my friends from boredom?"

Yeah, he probably deserved to get hit for that.

Though, she doesn't normally even joke about hitting people so that might be an indicator.

Nadia nodded. "He was. He's the one who did the treatment." If she could possibly avoid telling Walter or Pippi exactly how it had all be accomplished, she would. She wasn't sure she liked what had transpired, though she couldn't argue with the results.

At this point, Walter was writing off the discomfort in his nose and sinuses as leftover symptoms of the headache he'd had for so long.

"Then I'll have to talk to him and thank him." What sort of token do you give someone for saving your life?
