Janet's up and at the clinic early in the morning. She's not particularly awake yet. She wouldn't even mind if you bugged her about non-clinic business, but first she's going to check up on the paperwork and see who's around.



OOC: I have a kidlet on hand, so will be on and offline depending on if he's willing to play in the room with the computer. And now, off I go to update myself on the plottiness that's abounding...

Bel shimmered outside the clinic and walked in through the door, uncertain if the old protections were in place there. He looked around to see who was on duty or if he could just sneak around and find where Angel was.

"Can I help you?" asked Janet, one eyebrow raised.

"Is Angel still here?" Bel asked. "How is he doing?"

"I just got in," said Janet. She checked the charts. "But, yeah, he's still here and--" She studied them a little more. "He doesn't look like he's feeling so well, no. You're here to see him?"

"Yeah, I'm here to see him," Bel said. "I just found out he was here."

Exam One - Angel

Angel was still unconscious. You wouldn't think his fever and wound could've gotten worse, but if anything they looked as though they had.

[ooc: Okay for anyone to visit. Paige can attempt to heal w/o me being online. No feeding anything other than pig's blood. He's not going to wake up until Alfred comes by, so Alfred should ping me so I'm online for that.]

"You're not the only one," said Janet. She frowned. "Let's go check on him in Exam Room One, shall we?"

Bel looked at Angel in shock. "What's wrong with him?" he asked Janet. "He didn't look like that the last time I saw him."

After hearing the radio broadcast, Isabel decided to take a walk to the clinic and see what was happening for herself. She stepped through the door and looked around for someone to talk to.

Paige orbs into the clinic, having found out what's happening well she will do soon anyway and sees Bel.

"Anyone order a whitelighter?" she asks

"Ever heal a demon?" Bel said. "Angel's in bad shape."

She shakes her head, "No, but I figure it's worth a try right?" she says though part of her's thinking, 'I've never met one I've wanted to heal', but that's not actually strictly true any more.

"Won't the whole soul thing help there? I mean is he even still a demon?"

"Hopefully," Bel said. "I should warn you, though. I once saw a demon try to force a whitelighter to heal him, and it didn't go very well. But since Angel has a soul...."

After talking to Janet, Isabel went to Angel's room.

She didn't notice anyone else around, so she pulled a chair over and took a seat next to the bed. "Damn Angel, what the hell happened?" she said quietly.

Janet shook her head. Lunch with RL friends on spur-of-the-moment, sorry! "I don't know. I had no idea he was even here until you came in looking for him." She frowned. "Let me see what I can find in the old posts records."

"Thanks," Bel said. "He got hurt Friday night but it wasn't this bad, so something else must've happened to him."

Angel didn't respond. His eyelids twitched as though in reaction to something, but whatever it was wasn't Isabel.

"Janet, Hi! I heard the radio broadcast," Isabel said. "Angel's here? What's wrong."

"I heard something about Darla," said Janet. She glanced cautiously over at Belthazor. She'd also heard that he'd given up on trying to remove Angel's soul. "But I didn't catch much of the radio broadcast last night."

"I thought vampires don't get sick," she said. "This doesn't look like a fun way to spend Spring Break."

Again Angel did not respond to her directly, but he did groan. Sweat broke out on his brow. His head moved back and forth as though he were in pain, or perhaps even frightened of whatever it was he was seeing behind his closed lids.

Janet was studying the notes from when Angel had been admitted. "He's got a toxic substance in his blood," said Janet. "Apparently no one's sure how it was introduced."

Isabel bit her lip and watched. Angel seemed to be having a nightmare. She didn't think she could do anything about what was causing him to be sick, but she might be able to help with any nightmares. Getting to her feet, she walked over and closed the door to the room.

Returning to her seat, she took hold of his hand, rested her head on the side of the bed, and concentrated.
