Clinic Evening Hours, Sunday November 6th

*DEATH walks into the clinic, wearing what appears to be sunglasses despite the dim light and carrying a thermos of coffee which he sips occassionally. He sits at the desk, slouching slightly. The rubber duck is sitting on the desk next to him, impaled in the head with a jack. It quacks morosely periodically. He appears to be, if such were possible, hungover. However, the performance seems slightly theatrical at best. Rather than doing his usual paperwork, he bounces a rubber ball on the desk in what he hopes is an absent-minded fashion*

After his shower, Jonathan wants something to do. Barring any really good ideas, he decides to see what's up at the clinic.

*DEATH, noticing someone walking in, pauses for a moment while he considers what the proper response would be. Finally, he raises his head slowly, catching his rubber ball.*



*DEATH pauses again, before asking Jonathan*

"I suppose it depends," Jonathan says, jumping up onto the front desk, "When exactly did you have the last drink? And which drink was it? Tequila hangovers, for instance, last longer than vodka ones. And Vodka hangovers last longer than gin ones."

Jonathan reaches down behind the desk, rumaging in one of the drawers for a piece of paper.

"Slow night?"

*DEATH adjusts his sunglasses.*

"hmm, Tequila and the last was last night? Well, if you aren't feeling better by morning there's definately something wrong. See, the trick is to drink lots and lots of water. That way you won't be hungover," Jonathan tells him, swinging his legs, "or just not drink, but that would be boring.

Hey do you know if it's cool for me to be in here keeping you company past curfew?"

I AM NOT SURE. I WAS GIVEN PERMISSION TO BE HERE AFTER HOURS BY DR. WILSON SINCE I AM NOT EXACTLY IN ANY MORTAL PERIL. GROAN.

"So, do you think when the time comes I should head back to my dorm then?

There's asprin here in the clinic, right? You should take some."

*DEATH removes something from his robes, checking it quickly. He then replaces it. The rubber duck on the table quacks softly.*



*DEATH pulls some from the medecine cabinet, taking two. He then removes his sunglasses, strightens his shoulders and seems to be in perfect condition. He removes the jack from the head of the rubber duck.*

"I didn't know the asprin at the hospital was this good," Jonathan says, looking at Death with awe in his eyes, "And you feel 100% better?"

It was good to know about the mortal peril thing. Nice to be re assured.

*DEATH looks slightly unsure all of the sudden.*

"Well, no reason to do that, I mean, being hungover sucks. But Usually asprin takes a while before it starts working. It has to, disipate in your blood stream or something," Jonathan looks at the very boney face in front of him, "Not that you have a blood stream for it to disapate into."

Jonathan shakes his head, "I'd say go without the hangover, a whole day is a bit much."

*DEATH makes a mental note that, next time, he should not be hungover for the entire day. Still, deciding he likes the sunglasses, he sets them on top of his skull at an angle that he considers sylishly askance.*

"Oh they're good. I hope it's going well. I haven't seen one of my patients in a while and she and I used to see eachother three times a week. I hope she's okay.

Those sunglasses look cool on you, by the way." Jonathan tells him. He's making a paper airplane and totally sucking at it.

"Umm, sure, no problem, but I should probably head back to my room before curfew. I'll see you later man," Jonathan says, jumping down from the desk. He leaves his plane for Death to play with and with a cheery wave, leaves the clinic.

A battered and bleeding-from-a-head-wound Belthazor, a singed and scraped (and unconscious) Alanna, and a pensive Beka shimmer into a hallway in the middle of the clinic. Belthazor almost immediately passes out, leaving Beka standing.

[ooc: *Head tilt to the left...head tilt to the right...head tilt to the left.* Hrrrmmm...this is a bit of a sticky whicket. Since I don't know how Death's player wants to play this out, whether Death handle this himself or paged one of the docs...and I need to open the Clinic for Monday...I'm going to try to open the Clinic in as vague a term as possible but let me know if any of these characters would have been spending that night?]

[OOC: Both Belthazor and Alanna would've spent the night. Beka might've stayed with them (leaving for a short time) if allowed. I'd have to confirm with BekaMun exactly what she might've said or done, but most likely she would have asked to keep Bel sedated because he's under some bad magical influence. He's a little banged up, but nothing serious except for a head wound, as if someone smashed a rock into the back of his head. Alanna has scraped up palms, singed hair, and a nasty burn on her shoulder. She passed out from her injuries (as the mun had to go to bed) and was unconscious through the night.]

I put in that Bel is in restraints because since they're your garden varity normal mortal, the docs tend to make that SOP with the magically whacko. If it creates a huge problem, tell me here and I'll change it or IC Wilson can release him if need be.]

[ooc: *Nodnods* I spun the posts so that Wilson was working off Death's charts so that Death handled the initial situation though we had to bend a couple of medical no nos -sedating a headwound- for plot purposes.

And yeah, you're reading my mind about putting up the closed, "On Call Emergency" signs. *nodnodnods...head falls off*]
