Paige nods, "Terrible doesn't even begin to describe it. I've been in my room crying pretty much since it happened. I went to talk to Death though and I think it's going to ok. Hopefully Geoff will understand what happened when he gets back. He knows about me being a witch so hopefully he'll realise it wasn't really me."
She gets the books from her bag and hands them over, "How was your night?"
Taking the books back, Lily says, "I'm sure Geoff will be understanding - he really seems to love you."
Lily sticks her books in one of the desk drawers. "My night? Uh, it was... extroardinary, actually," she says, blushing just a little. "I had my first real date with Draco."
Paige smiles, glad to hear Lily had a better night than her and that Draco's happy, "Yeah I can see how that would be good, you don't count homecoming as a real date then?"
"Well I know this will probably just sound stupid, but he asked me fairly late before the dance and I wasn't quite sure if he wanted to go with me or if he just needed someone - anyone to accompany him. But... now I know."
Paige smiles, "Yeah it sounds like he's pretty keen. You lookied pretty happy together at homecoming. As far as I can remember anyway, it was a little bit of blur towards the end!" she laughs
Paige looks slightly ill at the mention of the punch, "Yeah I have no idea what was in it, but it worked! I'm just glad we had lots of coffee back at Geoff's to sober us up a bit."
Paige gets a dreamy look as she remembers her last night with him.
"Oh god, am I that obvious?!" Paige blushes. " No I have no idea when he'll be back, he said he'd not be gone that long, so any day now I hope, I just wish I'd have time to organise something to welcome him back, but I won't have notice I guess he's just gonna show up at the shop sometime."
Lily laughs. "Oh, I just recognised that look as the one that's been on my face all day," she says. "And I wouldn't worry about organising anything special - I'm sure the only thing Geoff will want when he returns is quality time with you."

"I bought your books back, am I ok to get them out here?"

"Hi Paige. That should be fine. Did you find anything useful in any of them?"
no subject
"I used them with a couple of other books to write a spell. It sort of backfired"
She looks at Lily, "I forgot all about Geoff, for 24 hours and kissed another guy."

"Paige! Oh, you must feel terrible... Is there anything I can do to help you with this?"
