"Stabby works in mysterious ways," a nurse intoned. "Hope you brought cozy coffees this morning."

The clinic was open, the crab had declared out to be Pajama Day, and the alien was in.

The pillow fort was gone when Will came in to work today, however Stabby did have an armchair, in which he was sat reading a novel.

"David Lobsterfield?" Will asked, eyebrow raised.

"It's a classic," replied one of the nurses. "He's trying to expand his horizons."
