Clinic House - Wednesday November 23rd 2005

The smell of the Christmas Blend was filling the reception area and Wilson was kicked back in his chair contemplating stringing lights around the whole area...and maybe a tree.

Not that he celebrated the specific Christmas Holiday don't ask how he can know about Phale and Crowley and not, it would just break the poor mun's brain to work that one out but the decorations would make House twitch and might be a fun thing to do. Yeah...maybe even a little tree...

Doctor on Duty, come get coffee, visit Rory and Logan -who should be getting sprung some time today- and if you must, bleed.

Rory bounces excitedly in her bed, totally ready for any least-minute visitors.

Rory sends people to visit him! He might get visitors!

Also, I think we wanted to spring them this evening, about 9EST. You are the BEST for putting up with them this long.

I think he was talking about our tendency to share a room, not my severe lack of visitors. But at least Rory sends Logan pity friends. *pout*

I wasn't sure, since you didn't use your room at all yesterday until Anakin showed up. And you'll get more visitors today! Who aren't pity visitors! Really! *shifty look*

[ooc: And let's all pretend that says "last-minute visitors." *facepalm*]

Trying to quell the feeling of doom in his stomach, John knocks lightly on the doorframe.

"Anyone home?"

"Hello!" Rory calls out cheerfully. "How are you, John? What's new? Anything fun and exciting?"

John forces a bright smile on his face and comes into the room. "Just planning for Thanksgiving around the dorms. How're you feeling? You're looking much better."

"I am!" she says brightly. "They're letting me out tonight. And! And I'm allowed to have coffee again! And! I can walk. I was walking all over the clinic last night! It was very exciting."

This time, is smile is more relief then happiness. "That's great. And out tonight? You'll be back around campus before anyone knows it."

Ash knocks on the door to Rory's room. He is cradling a box in one arm.

"Yo, that Gilmore-baby is in this room, right?"

"Hello?" Rory calls, not recognizing the voice.

[identity profile] names-ash.livejournal.com 2005-11-23 09:28 pm (UTC)(link)
"Erm, Rory Gilmore, right? I'm here on behalf of the staff of the school. Unofficially, I mean. Some of the staff. A few of the staff. Yeah. I, erm, got a present for ya. Can I come in?"

Re: Rory Gilmore -NFB-

"Sure?" Rory says, still confused. "Um. How are you, sir?"

Re: Rory Gilmore -NFB-

[identity profile] names-ash.livejournal.com 2005-11-23 09:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Ash enters the room, and offers the box. "I'm doing great, baby. Real damn good. How about you? I heard you went out for a bite in the worst sense."

Lockheed had decided to visit Rory again. With Tick still gone, he was starting to get lonely. He needed human contact! Even if it meant that he had to suffer through spending time with that annoying dog.

Having no cookies other than the secret stash that he hides from The Tick to offer, he instead brought a book The Tick had owned (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1931719330/104-5477244-5703915?v=glance&n=283155&s=books&v=glance) up until Lockheed grabbed it. Tick probably wouldn't notice it was gone.

"Hey, Lockheed!" Rory called as he entered. "What's new?"

If Rory looked sad or especially troubled in spite of her cheer, it was well-masked.

Lockheed shrugged before handing her the book.

If she checked the inside cover, she would see The Tick's standard warning against book thieves crossed out.

"Dictionary of Criminal Justice?" Rory asked, confused. "Um. Thanks?"

Rory liked books. This was a book on Criminal Justice. Why wouldn't she like this book?

Lockheed looked embarrassed about bringing Rory a bad book.

Parker showed up, looking chipper, and smiled at Rory, then frowned. "You don't look so hot, Gilmore. What's wrong? Are they not letting you out?"

Re: The Waiting Room

[identity profile] auroryborealis.livejournal.com 2005-11-23 08:43 pm (UTC)(link)
"Not until later," Rory says grumpily. "Please tell me you've come with good news, and not to tell me that you've got another evil vampire living in your suite and eating cereal right now. Because I think I've had enough of that today."

Re: The Waiting Room

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2005-11-23 08:46 pm (UTC)(link)
"Ah. Crichton came by, didn't he?" Parker made a face. "He wanted to tell you himself, so I let him do it instead of me, but... I really yelled at him, if that helps. He looked terrified." She looks thoughtful. "Uh, Angel-dork sang karaoke? And 'Mandy'? And looked totally, utterly stupid? I'm sorry my phone didn't work, but I know people got vids and pictures of it."

Re: The Waiting Room

[identity profile] auroryborealis.livejournal.com 2005-11-23 08:53 pm (UTC)(link)
"S'okay. Logan probably would've gotten mad, anyway." She looks curious at the mention of John. "John was upset. I just don't get it. He saw me. And he knew what happened. And he still wants to keep him."

Re: The Waiting Room

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2005-11-23 08:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Parker's quiet a moment, then she shrugs her shoulders, helpless. "Crichton's more trusting than *you* were, I think. And this Halo guy-- he is very, very different, Gilmore. I'll tell you that much. I actually believe this guy is a walking corpse. So don't expect it to make sense, or for him to be all that familiar if you run across him. I think that might be influencing John-Boy too. I don't trust the Halo & Wings at all, but I do think he's a miserable sonuvabitch right now."

She looks around the room, then back Rory. "Look. Why don't we go for a walk? Get you some sunlight, where you *know* he can't follow?"
