Since Adah had that whole graduation thing going on, the nurses weren't too bothered with covering for her today. They sat around playing euchre. One of them, clearly from Michigan, had spent hours trying to explain the game until the others finally really got the swing of it.

[[ yup. nurses; I'm aroundish, though, for a few hours, so if you want someone to bounce off of, no prob, or you can also mod at will. whoever will is. ]]

Dr. Troy was nowhere to be found, and the nurses were in charge today.

[Plz to be modding the nurses, I am buried under a ton of flowers meant for your moms.]

The kid with the hair hadn't turned up for his shift tonight, though he had left a brief and vague "family emergency" message. So the nurses were in charge tonight, if by "in charge" you meant "watching The Real Housewives of New York City."

Adah Price was a smart girl and, as such, she certainly understood her limitations. Limping through a town reportedly infested with abduction-linked stone angels just to get to a clinic where she'd most likely spend the whole day staring at molds and germs definitely settled beyond those limitations, so the clinic would just have to do with being staffed by nurses without the assistance of a pretentious pre-med cripple.

[[ nurses today, thanks to combination BDE and new job. la ]]

The nurses were having a discussion about current events in Fandom.

"Angels are bad."

"Why do you say that?"

"The statues!"

"That doesn't mean all angels are bad."

"Oh yeah, what about the vampire?"

"He's not bad!"

"I have medical charts that beg to differ."

"He got better?"

The nurses were looking at the clinic schedule and complaining. That cute Doctor Wilson had left and Doctor Troy hadn't told them, so the clinic had been dark yesterday. And now they had two more shifts to cover. They decided to settle the question of who would be stuck with what shift by logging into Facebook and playing Scrabulous.

The nurses were still in charge come morning, and discussion about Hearts 'n' Scalpels continued, particularly about which of the lead characters lived, died, or looked best naked.
fh_nurse: (Hello Nurse)
[personal profile] fh_nurse
The hot boy from the school -- no, not the one with all the hair, the other one -- hadn't shown up for his shift tonight, so the nurses were on duty and gossiping about the season finale of Hearts 'n' Scalpels. There might have been some flailing involved.

The nurses remained in charge today. They were all secretly hoping for a floral delivery.

[ooc: mod the nurses. I am dead of V-Day.]
fh_nurse: (Hello Nurse)
[personal profile] fh_nurse
Dr. Troy was still on vacation, so the nurses were in charge. Currently they were watching Hearts 'n' Scalpels and debating if the lead doctor's hair was real or not.

[ooc: next verse, same as the first, we're in the home stretch now.]
fh_nurse: (Nurse Betty)

The clinic was open and manned by the nurses.

[ooc: You know the drill.]
fh_nurse: (Nurse Betty)

Dr. Troy had skipped out of town on vacation, so the nurses were in charge again today. Fortunately the one at the front desk was nicer than the one from yesterday.

[ooc: Mod the nurse. I'm busy committing floral-related homicide.]
fh_nurse: (kill bill)

The clinic was open and manned by a caring, sensitive nurse.

Or, you know, not.

[ooc: Mod nurse. Send alcohol. No, not that. The hard stuff.]
fh_nurse: (Default)

The clinic was open, and the nurses were sad they had no cute patient to fawn over.

[ooc: Mod the nurse, please. If you need a doctor you can ping me at Chaos of Passion on AIM if I'm online, or drop me an email at kajivar@gmail if I'm not, but SP is the name of the game today as Thursdays are our busiest at work, we're rapidly approaching the critical threshhold of Valentine's Day (frakking flowers), and my alien baby is kicking mightily.]
fh_nurse: (Hello Nurse)
[personal profile] fh_nurse
The nurses were fighting. It wasn't every day they had a patient to take care of. A male patient. A hot male patient. So unsuprisingly, there were several arguments about who got to check on said patient, take his vitals, change his bandages, fluff his . . . pillows.

[ooc: mod a nurse; if you would like interaction with a doctor, ping me at Chaos of Passion on AIM.]
fh_nurse: (Hello Nurse)

The clinic was open, and the nurses were available to satisfy your needs. Not dirty.

[ooc: please mod the nurse. If you need interaction with a doctor, ping me at Chaos of Passion on AIM -- if/when I make it online. I'm drowning in flowers this morning.]
fh_nurse: (Hello Nurse)
[personal profile] fh_nurse
The clinic was empty of patients once more, so the nurse on duty was watching Hearts 'n' Scalpels. "The big toe!" she insisted to no one in particular.

[ooc: please to be modding the nurse. If you need interaction with a doctor, ping me at Chaos of Passion on AIM, but I likely won't be on 'til after noon EST due to frakking flower order management.]
fh_nurse: (Hello Nurse)

The nurses were clustered around the computer at the front desk, staring and giggling. They may have been playing a YouTube video over and over again. "Juggernaut?" one snickered.

The nurses were still in charge. Fortunately, it seemed that not many people got hurt over the holidays. Unfortunately, this meant downtime and boredom, so they were currently searching youtube to see if they could find more Dr. Troy sex vids.

Dr. Troy was still on vacation in Denver Miami for the holidays, but the nurses were here to see to your needs.

[ooc: plz to be modding the nurses. If you need to interact with a doctor, you can ping me (Chaos of Passion on IM) if I'm around, but I will be traveling today and therefore out of touch for a good portion of it. Harass one of the other docs in that case. ;) ]

The only patient in the clinic had awakened from her coma last night and been discharged, so the clinic was quiet and empty. The nurse was at the front desk, filing her nails.

Doctor Troy had called in "hungover" and left the nurses in charge this morning. One of the nurses had also called in with the flu, leading to much speculation as to the real nature of her absence.

[ooc: plz to be modding the nurses. If you need a doctor's tender loving care, email me at kajivar@gmail or ping me at Chaos of Passion if I can make it on to AIM later. Busy busy floral morning!]
fh_nurse: (Nurse Betty)

The nurses were running the clinic this morning, but they had Dr. Troy's pager number in case of emergency. And while Dr. Howser had noted in the current patient's chart that he did not have the plague, well, they still were being extra careful to wash their hands and wear masks while checking on him. Just to be safe.

[Plz to be modding the nurse; if you need to check in with a doctor, ping me at Chaos of Passion. I may be AFK at times in the afternoon if my alien baby tries to burst out of my stomach.]
fh_nurse: (Hello Nurse)

One of the nurses was watching over the clinic today, with Dr. Troy's pager number handy in case anyone came in with serious injuries or there was any change in the poor girl's condition in exam one.

[Please to be modding the nurse. If you need a doctor's attention, ping me at Chaos of Passion.]

The clinic was empty save for one nurse holding down the fort. She was here to take care of your non-flu-related needs. Anyone showing symptoms of the flu would be directed to town hall.

Dr. Wilson still hadn't returned. The nursing staff was starting to wonder. Maybe if he wasn't back by tomorrow, they'd lead another note for Dr. Troy.

[ooc: Wilson will be back tomorrow for his morning shift. Were that my own foot so capable of quickly healing. :(]
fh_nurse: (Hello Nurse)
[personal profile] fh_nurse
When Dr. Wilson failed to show for his shift, there was some frowning amongst the nursing staff. He was usually quite prompt.

The headnuse made sure that Dr. Troy's number was in the speed dial but since it seemed to be shaping up to be a quiet evening, she didn't worry about calling him in.

Yet.

[ooc: Wilson is away on plottiness, please ping me if you have SL needs today!]

Stark arrived at the clinic for his usual shift and found the clinic already partially occupied. He quickly checked in on Tyler and Nadia, and anyone else who's still here that I missed then took a seat at the desk. With people in the clinic, he figured that this was not likely to be as quiet a night as Sundays usually were. So he was keeping his eye on the door.

((The mun, on the other hand, is totally watching TWW finale *sniff*, and will be slow responding between 8-9 EDT. But I am here. And I think I have nurse backup, even. Yay. AND this time I'll post in the right place.))

Janet stumbled in, exhausted, and opened up the clinic. Thankfully--and unusually--the nurse was around to watch the desk. She waved tiredly and dropped into a cot in the corner to sleep.

OOC: It's Mother's Day and yeah, I want to do the mommy thing with my kidlet. And my mom. :) Which means I am on omg slowplay, but will be tagging in when/if I can.
