Ellie had been at the clinic since yesterday. The entire time, really. She was there mostly in case extra medical staff was needed, considering the latest craziness. It had been a petty restless few days, too. She had been too anxious with worry about everyone who was missing, especially her brother.

The clinic, at least, kept her somewhat distracted.

Ino wasn't too impressed by the whole… having to be at work thing today, no. Which wasn't the fault of work, rather it was just that she was feeling clingy and…

Work kinda made that impossible? The things she did for her job. Sigh.

Besides, her mood went a little blah-ier (that was totally a word, as far as Ino was concerned) when she found out that there was a patient that she knew, at least a little, in the clinic.

She settled herself at the front desk after checking the charts and seeing that everything was as fine as she could make it. Head injuries—probably a good a idea to not mess with that, right?

Ino sighed, and tugged out a book to read. It would pass the time at least.

Just like the last time she moved into the cabins, Ellie woke early so she could take care of that before heading to the clinic. She probably could have done that after her shift since listening to nurses gossip wasn't that exhausting. She was pretty much expecting another quiet day.

There were monsters on Fandom Island! Ugly grumpy things that got in the dorms and were in the halls and had been everywhere on her way to the clinic and Ino?

Ino was lovin' it.

Sure, she had to work. Sure, the nurses were Displeased with the fact that she came in grinning like a loon and smug from having Thunder'd the crap out of a few of the monsters. (She'd kicked one in the face too and he'd gone flying.)

Ino's glee, however, was unabated. She was going to be Vigilant and Watchful and keeping an eye out for those who needed her medical help.

But when she was free, to the nurses dismay, she was stalking through the clinic, checking supplies and setting things up in case they got a bunch of wounded, and making sure none of the monsters had gotten inside.

Today was an awesome day!

…Well, for Ino anyway. She was relatively sure the less combative people of the town had Other Opinions about the whole invasion thing.
