Martha was sad to see so many sick and dying patients at the clinic, but not as sad as she was knowing that her true love was out there searching for his true love, and it wasn't her. Stupid Rose, keeping the Doctor away from her. If only she had the chance to show him what a real woman could be like, she knew she could change his mind. She just had to find the way to do it, and it was all she could think about as she checked on the clinic's patients.

The nurses were all gathered around the front desk, gossiping while Martha finished going through the files from the weekend with the enemy island. It was a little strange to have someone around who actually wanted to work and help people, but they wouldn't have expected much else from someone like Martha.

Wilson and House had been up the whole night, between hourly checks on Rory, Marty and Logan they had -laughably- tried to relieve each other for a few hours of sleep but each had been too keyed up to take advantage and after the first try had given up.

The oncologist had quietly worked on paperwork in between rounds, while House had played with his gameboy. For the moment, neither had brought up the subject of what had just happened with the other, it was just all too confusing and in the end, not important to delivering medical attention. In some ways, it was better that they didn't have the details, that would just confuse the focus.

As morning dawned, Wilson had taken advantage of a quick break to grab a shower and clean the blood off his skin and out of his hair. He'd come back and tagged House out, firmly suggesting that the older doctor needed to put some intense heat therapy on that bad leg of his...and also demanding -in a loving manner- that House make coffee.

When House headed off towards the little apartment, Wilson began to run rounds once more.

[ooc: For the sake of my sanity, please put all 'Morning after' comments into this post. I'll have threads up for all the sickies as soon as LJ lets me. Thank you! :)]

Wilson's routine was fairly predictible by now. Wake up, rediscover gravity sucks, find the shower...blah blah blah.

Opening the Clinic, he started a pot of Kona Gold coffee today No Parker you still can not have any and then grabbed up various bits of paperwork that needed to be attended to, including new supply req forms.

Flopping down at the front desk, he stuffed the clipboard with a fresh sign in sheet on the counter and settled in to work.

First things first however. Behind the counter, all Clinic Staff would find the following note )

Sticking the note up and making a mental note to get said pills, the oncologist stretched back and picked up his first crossword puzzle chart to work on.

Doctor on Duty.

Lisa slinks into the Clinic. Her last three times here have been rather traumitizing, first she made [livejournal.com profile] psycho_jackass grow an abnormally large amount of body hair, then she was faced with the jackass new Clinic Security, and then a student who was passed out on the floor.

To keep her mind off of her troubles, she makes a new bulletin board.

Drinking with Barbossa? No wonder you're hungover! )

Satisfied, she sits at House's desk, sorts through the mail, and doodles out campaign posters on extra charts, waiting to see what will come into the clinic today.
