No matter what shape he or the Clinic was in...the clinic was open.

There would be the smell of freshly brewing coffee, the rustle of paperwork and perhaps even some music from the small radio Wilson had taken to keeping around to keep him company during the day.

Doctor on Duty, come bleed or beg coffee!

Wilson yawned as he wandered along the corridor from the apartment towards the clinic proper. He had a cup of coffee in his hand and a couple of medical journals in the other.

He poked his nose into House's office, retrieving some files from the corner and carrying them along with his journals towards the front counter.

Investigating the area for any lingering notes, shrugging when he found none the oncologist went to check that the front door was open and the lights in the waiting room were turned on. Heading back to the desk he flopped down into the chair and settled in to read and do paperwork.

Doctor on duty. Pester if you so desire.

Wilson had a large cup of coffee in one hand and was covering a yawn with the other as he gave the door to the clinic a skillful hip check to throw it open. Padding on into House’s office, he set down the coffee and then tucked the keys into his pocket, reaching automatically for the lab coat hanging from the back of the door.

It was the morning after Homecoming and though House was still solidly passed out in bed back in the apartment, Wilson had found himself waking at his habitual hour with a pounding head and a rather tantalizing case of whisker burn. For those of you keeping track, there hadn’t been any actual sex but there had been a heavy enough necking session that Wilson was dressed in a turtleneck this fine autumn morning.

Cursing his internal clock, along with the morass of thoughts chasing them selves around in his brain, Wilson had gone ahead and gotten out of bed. House was deeply asleep for what felt like the first time in… many, many years and Wilson didn’t want his restlessness to wake the older man.

There was a lot, a hell of a lot on Wilson’s mind so, he was opening the clinic. Work had always provided him with a certain level of escape from the demons of his own mind and he spent a lot of time running from those demons. It was probably part of why he was one of the youngest doctors to be at the top of his field.

If nothing else, Wilson wanted to do an inventory, to make an accurate restock of the place in the wake of O’Neill’s bunch of merry casualties and also to be available if anyone found themselves in need of the clinic’s attention in the bright light of the morning.

Warning, he does reserve the right to make fun of any and all hangover victims.

The lights are off in the clinic, so Lisa grabs the key from its hiding place and lets herself in. She looks tired and is carrying a single, huge duffle bag. Throwing it on the floor behind House's desk, she curls up on a cot and tries to fall asleep, instead staring at the ceiling silently.

[OOC: After Lana and Angelus come in, Cuddy pulls a curtain closed and falls asleep for the night in the corner, oblivious to all Clinic activities. If you have a med emergency, make a new post to the clinic and one of the staffers will come to your aid. Maybe even Cuddy in the AM EST. Thanks.]

He decides to wander in to the clinic after his soaps.

He sits at his desk and scribbles out a notice for his assistants, but ends up trashing the hand written copy and instead prints it out on his computer.

He gets distracted and ends up playing pool on yahoo!games.

The notice, if he ever gets it finished will state that clinic assistants *must* post in the clinic work at least once a week to maintain their position and receive credit for it. (There are also several clinic positions available since some of the voluteers have dropped off or quit, Click here for application)

Anyone who dares interrupt his game will likely get hissed at. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't do it.

Lisa slinks into the Clinic. Her last three times here have been rather traumitizing, first she made [livejournal.com profile] psycho_jackass grow an abnormally large amount of body hair, then she was faced with the jackass new Clinic Security, and then a student who was passed out on the floor.

To keep her mind off of her troubles, she makes a new bulletin board.

Drinking with Barbossa? No wonder you're hungover! )

Satisfied, she sits at House's desk, sorts through the mail, and doodles out campaign posters on extra charts, waiting to see what will come into the clinic today.

[OOC: Post locked because mun is low on energy tonight. House will be on duty (against his will) in the clinic tomorrow night and randomly throughout the weekend for any students/faculty needing his assitance. Thank you!]

After receiving a phone call from Lisa, House abruptly leaves the main area of the clinic (and don't think he's not grateful for the interruption and the excuse to leave the chaos), and limps into one of the back rooms.

His eyes sweep across the room, taking in the sight of the young man on the cot. His clothes are tattered, splotches of purple and bruise blackened skin underneath.

"Nice shiner," House comments, with a nod toward the patient's face.

Lisa opens the clinic, immediately refreshes the condom supply outside the door (typical), and goes back to the fridge to check on the gremlin in there. It doesn't appear to have moved, but she pokes it just in case.

"Gremlin? Gremmmmmlin? Hello?"

Satisfied, she puts it back in the fridge and grabs a few signs she made out of her bag.

Free Vaccinations at the Clinic today.
Rabies, The Plague, Meningitis, The Clap, you name it.

Several vaccinations are still in testing periods. The Clinic claims no responsibility for any side effects that may occur.

She sticks one to the outer door, and several around the campus right outside the clinic. Coming back inside to wait, she flips on House's mini-tv to catch the Fandom weather report.
